Hi! I am so glad you want to know a little bit about me :) 

I am a fighter, survivor and lover of life. I was recently diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) - in all honesty I always misspell it, so from here on out I'll refer to it as MDS. This syndrome is a rare blood cancer that occurs almost exclusively in elderly men. I mean we are talking 70-80 year old men. OBVIOUSLY I am A. not that old and B. not a man. Which makes it that much more crazy/rare to be occurring to me. The cancer is a mutation of my chromosomes that in turn stops the creation of red blood cells. 

But I am much more than the cancer that my body is fighting. I am still only in my 20's and ready to take on the rest of my life. This is only a minor blip that I know I can fight and survive to live the rest of my life. 

I currently live in the most beautiful city (well it may be a little dirty but I love it non the less) of Philadelphia and am going back to school! Maybe I'll just become a life-time student?? 

I absolutely love spending my free time exploring new niches of my favorite city.

I am guilty of owning wayyyyyy too many handbags...I mean shopping is just so therapeutic and handbags seem to be my downfall (we all have a downfall!!) 

I am a picky eater... I'm talking about a 3 year old kid picky eater and am working everyday towards fixing that. I love recipe suggestions send them my way!
