And Paleo done!

I will be completely honest I cheated. I did not successfully complete a full month of Paleo only foods. Man is it hard! But to be honest I think it was a success. I only cheated 3 days, so I am going to chalk it up for a win. Let me tell you I never ever thought I would be able to go more than  1 meal paleo. I am not know for my love of veggies so this was a crazy venture for me.

1. throw out your ideas for what should be eaten for breakfast/lunch/dinner eat anything at any meal time (steak for breakfast
    sure, eggs for dinner easy!)
2. PREPARE,PREPARE,PREPARE
3. sweet potatoes are your BEST friend (or just mine!)
4. oh wait so are Almonds and raisins (yes I HAD to snack)
5.  nomnompaleo.com

Those are my quick 5 tips for going Paleo. Honestly preparation is the biggest key to success here. I spent about 3/4 hours on average every sunday prepping all of my meals for the week. That way every morning I could just grab my breakfast, steak and eggs, 2 hardboiled eggs, some chicken.. heat it up and be out the door in the same amount of time it takes to eat a bowl of cereal.  And then grab my lunch and when I get home from going to work, then class and the gym I have my dinner all ready to heat up and eat. There is no space to think about grabbing some pizza or a ordering out. Heating it up is so much quicker!

Here was my first shopping trip all laid out!

waiting in line at whole foods for 45 mins because I shopped the day before a storm came oops!

yummy dinner! meatball recipe here (so delicious!!)

no blog is complete without pictures, and I am trying to get better about documenting things.

I hope to keep up eating more paleo meals but I am going to allow myself to eat non-paleo items as well.

I would still love to hear any delicious recipes you have!! Help Help!
