We met up with our awesome tour guide Joe and hit 4 amazing spots. BEing the crazy picky eater that I am. I promised myself (and my parents) that I would try EVERYTHING that was put in front of me, and let me tell you Joe definitely pushed the limits! We started at an adorable little cheese shop for a delicious spanish cheese and wine sampling. YUM YUM YUM .. Our second stop was to an adorable family owned little restaurant that was actually across the street from our hostel, and Kevin and I had already eyed it as a place to go! Amazing tapas, anchovies, pepper poppers, stuffed peppers, the food kept flowing it was delicious. The 3rd place was a a traditional Catalonian restaurant that was absolutely delicious and we got to try Patatons a traditional bread dish NOM NOM NOM. Lastly we stopped at a cute restaurant that I could probably never find again no matter how hard I tried and had desert. Traditional dessert is this really light cheese with ice cream. It was strange and delicious all at the same time.
Beyond the great food. Joe was an amazing tour guide and new so much about the city! Wednesday morning (our last day in the city) we woke up to an email from Joe with a huge list of places to check out before we left or when we return! I think food tours are an awesome way to see a new city an find amazing restaurants! My only regret is we didn't do it the first night we got there!
Being the newbie blogger that I am, I took zero pictures of our foo tour exploration :( but here are some last photos of our trip the indoor market, some street art and park gull:
